IRONSIDES MINIS FUN DAY 2019 A HUGE SUCCESS

Ironsides Minis had another fantastic Fun Day this year and players, parents, families and volunteers gathered in the glorious sunshine.

We were joined by Ironsides legend, Kyle Sinckler of Harlequins, England and the Lions,  England and Saracens Ladies star Bryony Cleall, and Mayor of Wandsworth Cllr Piers McClausland who kindly gave up their time to present the coveted Most Improved Player and Best Attitude awards in each age group.

As well as celebrating the achievements and progress of our Minis players from age U5 to U11, the Fun Day was a great opportunity for the club to say a little thank you to all the managers (pictured below with Minis' Chair Dave Watson), coaches, first aiders and other volunteers, and of course to the parents who have provided their support across the age groups.

There was plenty of entertainment laid on for all - whether you enjoy a turn on the inflatable bungee run (kids) or relaxing with a nice cold pint of our new Iron Lager (parents)! Alan and the clubhouse team laid on delicious BBQ food and kept the bar well stocked as always!

The annual Coaches Touch Rugby Tournament was more competitive than ever – even if no-one is quite sure who actually won!

A massive thanks to all those involved in organising the event and turning out for a fantastic day to mark the end of another fantastic season.
