IRONSIDES LADIES FLYING THE FLAG ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE

Good things really do come in threes for the Ironsides Ladies team, as three of our own head down to Australia for the Tag World Cup in Australia next month. Joining Sam Bedford and Sarah Jackson on the plane down under, Kirsty Clarke has been chosen by the Great Britain team and the Tag Rugby community as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony on November 1st.

Kirsty joined Ironsides Ladies in December 2016 and has represented Great Britain for the past three years. She is a dedicated member of the Tag Rugby community and is delighted with the honour: “I'm really stoked and excited to represent our talented, diverse and ever-growing Great Britain Tag community in Australia,” said Clarke following her appointment. “The honour of being chosen to represent my country is something that means a huge amount to me.”
