Ironsides Ladies

Welcome to Ironsides Ladies, we are always looking to encourage new players to join us! Whether you are experienced or totally new to the game we have something for everyone. As well as many experienced players we also have a lot of ladies that had never picked up a rugby ball before joining us. We are very committed to supporting and developing all players and experience levels within our team.

The Ladies and Mens teams form the Senior Section within the club, we are incredibly welcoming, supportive and we have a GREAT social calendar.

Over the Autumn/ Winter we train on at 7pm on a Tuesday and Thursday at Battersea Ironsides Clubhouse (SW17 OAW) just off of Openview.

Pre-season training starts at 7pm on a Tuesday and Thursday at Garratt Green (SW17 OJG) and continues there until late September.

Our highly competitive First team was founded in 2016, since then we have gone from strength to strength. Our team numbers more than doubled last year and so our second team was born.

Notable Achievements
- Promoted following our first season from NC3 League 2016/17
- Finished 3rd in NC1 League 2017/18
- Surrey Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Game 2018
